Our lodges are self-catering. We have an onsite pub, The Forest Bar & Kitchen, where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also have a Wafflemeister at our Tower Knowe site for snacks and light bites during the day. There are also pubs located around the wider park and local villages such as Falstone and Bellingham. We have a shop onsite which sells some food items and basics but we would recommend if you have specific requirements to buy them before you arrive to avoid any disappointment.

What clothing should I bring?+
Kielder Waterside is in the countryside and the weather can change quite quickly. It can go from glorious sunshine to rain to cloud within very short spaces of time. As many of our activities are outdoors we recommend water proof clothing in the winter months and layers so that you are equipped for a change in temperature. Walking boots and trainers are also recommend to keep your feet comfy when you’re out and about or participating in one of our activities. If you are visiting in the winter wellies would also be a good option.
