Tower Knowe
The Tower Knowe visitor centre is conveniently located near the entrance of Kielder Water & Forest Park, especially for those coming from the south, like Newcastle. It’s also close to Kielder Waterside, just a ten-minute drive away.
You can enjoy some refreshments at the cafe, which offers tasty snacks. All this can be enjoyed with a fantastic view to admire while taking a break.
Additionally, the gift shop at Tower Knowe offers a variety of gorgeous items for purchase. Visitors can also buy their fishing permits here, making it a one-stop destination for both learning and leisure.
The Tower Knowe visitor centre is seasonal and is open from April until the end of October.
