Covid 19 – April Update
As the second road map step has been achieved and restrictions lifted, we are happy to be able to welcome our lovely guests back to Kielder Waterside.
Our facilities continue to operate in accordance with the government guidelines and below is a snapshot of what is open and what will re-open at later stages:
Monday April 12th – Open and available now
Self-catering lodge holidays (one household per lodge)
The Forest Bar & Kitchen patio and outdoor seating areas for dining. Takeaways also available
All children’s activities
Outdoor adults activities
Kielder Waterside shop
Pool only and gym (booking essential)
Tower Knowe Visitor Centre including Wafflemeister. Takeaway or outside dining only
Weddings available for 15 guests and viewings on park for couples
Fishing
Caravan park (for self-sufficient units only)
Birds of Prey
Potentially open and available from May 17th
Self-catering lodge holidays are open (two household or up to 6 people per lodge permitted)
Indoor adults activities
The Forest Bar & Kitchen will serve food and drinks indoors
The Bug House soft play
Sauna and steam room
Wafflemeister at Tower Knowe will serve food indoors
Weddings available for 30 guests
Caravan park
Potentially from June 21st
Any remaining restrictions lifted
As mentioned previously, all dates are subject to updated Government guidelines and any changes will be communicated to you. We also ask that you please continue to follow social distancing rules, wash your hands and wear face coverings in our shops and restaurants until restrictions are completely lifted.
