Whether you’re a fishing fanatic or first time fisher, fishing in northumberland will be sure to deliver. With over 2,000 acres of water to explore, giving you the opportunity to fish in a new location every time, whilst visiting Kielder Waterside. With our waters being home to a diverse range of fish you’ll be sure to have great fishing opportunities.
Northumbrian Water’s boat fishery delivers a fleet of 15 fully equipped motorboats, offering exhilarating fishing for both enthusiasts and competition anglers. Consider yourself a Bank angler, you’ll also be spoilt for choice with an array of 20 miles shoreline to choose from.
Start your fishing adventure everyday from 6:00am from Kielder Waterside and 10:00am from Tower Knowe Visitor Centre.

Any number of children aged under 18 years can fish for free with a family permit. Up to two children under 18 can fish free when one parent/guardian buys a standard day permit.
