Ready, aim, fire! Experience archery in Northumberland at Kielder Waterside. It’s the time and place to uncover your inner Robin Hood by perfecting your arrow techniques in the heart of Kielder’s beautiful forest. A great activity to experience with your friends and family as you learn the skills and techniques of shooting a performance bow with an Archery GB activity leader.
The perfect archery lesson in Northumberland, educational, fun, and challenging. Once you start you’ll not want to put your bow down, as you continue to improve after every shot. This lesson costs as little as £15 per person.
Archery is one of the oldest sports in the world. Traditionally used to hunt, now an Olympic sport, we see no sign of Archery slowing as more and more people engage with this exhilarating sport.
The concept of Archery may be deemed as quite simple, as you seek to fire a target using a bow an arrow, yet deceptively this is a tricky sport, but with our instructors on hand to help you’ll be sure to hit the target.
Our instructors will take you back to the basics of Archery explaining and teaching you how to properly load your arrow, how to stand and perfect your aim and finally how to shoot and hit the target.
We recommend comfortable, suitable outdoor clothing including trainers, make sure you dress in accordance to the weather.Book now explore kielder
